A Flor de Roma

For your parents it was a flower

the girl so dear

and with all your love

they called her Daisy

Forget carnations and roses

the tulips and jasmine

they are all beautiful flowers

but not so beautiful

However, it grew

through some garden passed

among all that was seen

in Father Brás's it was

And with time already lost

went to Rome to live

the new flower garden

didn't stop increasing

Daisy's Flowers

are beautiful as moonlight

and with such a wise hand

takes them to clean

everyone walk and run

to Our Saint to preach

the flowers I spoke of

wait for you at the altar

And to the Starry Sky

of such great splendor

to Your Enchanted Garden

the Lord will take her
