free and valid, like Ubuntu; personally my computer is this one and  I use the excellent openSUSE, which is extremely reliable, and as it has space for two ssds, on the 2nd I also installed the extraordinary Fedora (if you have a usb pen that doesn't work, don't throw it away without first trying this operating system!!! But as there are no two without three, I still use a third pocket operating system, but no less interesting than the first two, precisely when I use any public wi-fi, or when security demands it: the anonymous Tails, this time installed on a usb pen that should have a reasonable size, only if you want to store data or install new applications, as it has absolutely no access to the other two disks, which  reassures and  this way you can take a complete operating system with you and use it on any other computer safely too...and if security is in your DNA and if you haven't used it yet, try ProtonMail for email, even  a very small space, security is very high (use it for more personal and private mail - made in Switzerland, not subject to American or European controls!!!).  It still serves a little attention to the keyboard language, with their respective positions, mainly in terms of signs.
