HobbyGaia - Collections - Zenit 11 - 35 mm SLR camera, made in USSR, built between 1981 and 1990 by KMZ / BeLomo. Only operating in manual mode, a selenium cell is used for the luminance indicator, an old system where the light does not pass through the lens (with obvious disadvantage of using filters) and before TTL, does not use batteries; first select the speed of the movie in the upper left, turn the control until the wheel centers the line, view the various coincidences, for example for Wing 100, 125 / f11, 250 / f8, etc., choose one, select it in the machine and shoot. If you are going to use any old roll, maybe this sturdy machine with its great lenses and for about two tens of Euros, may be the solution, and this if about a pound of pure metal does not scare you... Your look is a bit strange, but it really is beautiful !!!

Working only in manual mode, it uses a selenium cell for the luminusity indicator, old  system  where light does not pass through the lens, (with an obvious disadvantage if using filters) and prior to TTL,  done  to have no end,  so it doesn't use batteries; first select the film speed in the upper left part, turn the control until the wheel centers the line, visualize the different coincidences for example for Wing 100, 125/f11, 250/f8  , etc, choose one,  select it  on the machine and shoot.  If you plan to use any old  roller, perhaps this very robust machine with its excellent lenses  and for about two dozen Euros, it could be the solution, and that if about a kilo of pure metal doesn't scare you...  its appearance is a little strange, but it is really beautiful!!!
