It has four measuring scales, selectable with a small handle, and visible in a small window on top: the first of 0 grams, as the display indicates weighs up to 500gr. The total value to weigh is always the value indicated in the window plus the value indicated by the pointer in the quadrant. Its construction is so robust, that although small, and designed to weigh only two kilograms, (1500gr + 500gr), it itself weighs more than thirteen kilograms !!!. Being a trade balance, it has two dials, one facing the seller and the other facing the customer. They are visible in the plate, several marks of punctures, made over the years, that attested his precision. It has also incorporated a spherical level, to control its horizontal position. Its design, based on curved lines makes it very beautiful, elegant and attractive, so if it has been dethroned in the grocery store, no doubt will be queen in any kitchen!!!

Tem quatro escalas de mediçao, selecionaveis com um pequeno manipolo, e visualisaveis numa  pequena janela em cima: a primeira de 0 gramas, como o mostrador indica pesa até 500gr. O valor total a pesar é sempre o valor indicado na janela mais o valor indicado pelo ponteiro no quadrante. A sua construçao é de tal forma robusta, que embora pequena, e projectada para pesar sò até dois quilos, (1500gr+500gr),ela propria pesa mais de treze quilos!!!.  Sendo uma balança comercial, tem dois mostradores, um virado para o vendedor e outro para o cliente. Sao visiveis no prato, diversas marcas de punçoes, feitas ao longo dos anos, que atestavam a sua precisao. Tem ainda incorporado um nivel esferico, para controlar a sua posiçao horizontal. O seu design, baseado em linhas curvas torna-a muito bonita, elegante e atraente, pelo que se foi destronada na mercearia,  voltarà a reinar em qualquer cozinha !!!
