HobbyGaia - Collections - Beautiful sewing machine Rheingold Luxury, built in Germany in the mid fifties. It has a very robust construction, so it is extremely heavy, and still very elegant lines. It is not a very common sewing machine, perhaps because in its time others dominate the market, which makes it even more interesting; can quietly serve to illustrate what is an authentic vintage object. Great for collecting. Unmissable!!!

Vintage and RheinGold, two inseparable words.

PS: The last photo, especially dedicated to Annette (RSA), (unfortunately I don't have the instruction manual or the pedal), shows the arrangement of the machine's connections to the control pedal, especially important if you don't have the original pedal and use another one any, vintage Singer type (with variable resistance). The important thing is to use it precisely following this provision (between points L (lamp) and C commum) 220V must reach and point M (motor) the variable voltage that controls the motor speed. C is comum.)

 

HobbyGaia - Colecções - Belissima máquina de costura Rheingold De Luxo,  construida na Alemanha na metade dos anos cinquenta. Tem uma construçao muito robusta, pelo que é extremamente pesada, e ainda  umas linhas muito elegantes. Nao é uma maquina de costura muito comum, talvez por na sua epoca outras dominarem o mercado, o que a torna ainda mais interessante; tranquilamente pode servir para ilustrar o que é um autentico objecto vintage. Excelente para colecionar. Imperdivel!!!

PS: A ultima fotografia, especialmente dedicada a Annette (RSA), (infelizmente nao possuo o manual de instruçoes nem o pedal), mostra a disposicao das ligacoes da maquina ao pedal de controlo, especialmente importante se nao tiver o pedal original e utilizar outro qualquer , tipo Singer vintage (de resistencia variavel). O importante é utilizar-lo obedecendo precisamente a esta disposiçao: ponto M (motor) a tensao variavel que controla a velocidade do motor); ponto L (lampada); ponto C comum.
