Governada por centenas de anos por Papas, em boa verdade se pode dizer que cada um perpetuou o seu reinado, construindo uma igreja, praça ou fonte, pelo que estas se encontram por todo o lado; e recheadas de obras de arte como estão, autênticas maravilhas, independentemente do seu credo religioso, se o visitante que chega a Roma é amante das Artes, então está como peixe na água... e esta não é um pequeno rio, mas um verdadeiro oceano!!!
