Born in Spain, together with Santo Inacio de Loyola founded the Society of Jesus (Jesuits). At the request of Portugal, he went to India and Japan, becoming world-famous as the Apostle of the Indies. Painting of excellent quality, and extremely well preserved, its author apparently did not leave his signature ?, but in the book that the apostle has in front of it is very visible the year, reason why will be more than two hundred years. Interesting features, and that should be taken into consideration, to be part of any collection !!!

Caracteristicas interessantes, e que deverao ter-se em consideraçao, para fazer parte de qualquer colecçao!!!
