HobbyGaia - Collections - Sacred Art - Great Christ in wood. His age is unknown, but he is old as the  Braga Cathedral... or almost. In fact, although it is extremely well preserved, it lacks only the initials at the top, you can clearly see the passage of time, or its marks.Also interesting is his way of supporting himself and his long cross with Christ at its height, used in times gone by (see the similarity evident with that of this painting of the end of 700, always on this site - S. Francis Xavier - which alias incentive to enter in the collection !!! Nigible for anyone who appreciates or collects art, especially Sacred Art.

HobbyGaia - Colecçoes - Arte Sacra - Estupendo Cristo em madeira. A sua idade é desconhecida, mas é velho como a Sé de Braga..., ou quase. De facto embora se encontre extremamente bem conservado, falta-lhe apenas as iniciais na parte superior, ve-se nitidamente a passagem do tempo, ou as suas marcas. Interessante tambem a sua forma de se apoiar e a sua longa cruz  com o Cristo bem la no cimo, usança em tempos idos, (veja-se a semelhança evidente com a desta pintura de fim de 700, sempre neste site - S. Francisco Xavier - que alias serviu de incentivo para o fazer entrar na colecçcao!!! Imperdivel para quem aprecia ou coleciona arte, em especial Arte Sacra.
