Only operating in manual mode, a selenium cell is used for the luminance indicator, an old system where the light does not pass through the lens (with obvious disadvantage of using filters) and before TTL, does not use batteries; first select the speed of the movie in the upper left, turn the control until the wheel centers the line, view the various coincidences, for example for Wing 100, 125 / f11, 250 / f8, etc., choose one, select it in the machine and shoot. If you are going to use any old roll, maybe this sturdy machine with its great lenses and for about two tens of Euro, may be the solution, and this if about a pound of pure metal does not scare you ... Your look is a bit strange, but it really is beautiful !!!

HobbyGaia - Colecções - Zenit 11 - Máquina fotográfica de 35 mm SLR, made in URSS, construida entre 1981 e 1990 por KMZ/BeLomo. Funcionando apenas em modo manual, serve-se duma célula de selénio para o indicador de luminusidade, velho sistema onde a luz não atravessa a lente, (com evidente desvantagem se usar filtros) e anterior ao TTL,  feito para não ter fim, pelo que não usa baterias; primeiro deve ser seleccionado a velocidade do filme na parte superior esquerda, rodar o control até a roda centrar a linha, visualizar as diversas coincidências por exemplo para Asa 100, 125/f11, 250/f8 , etc, escolher uma, seleccionar-la na máquina e disparar.  Se pensa usar qualquer velho rolo, talvez esta robustissima máquina com as suas óptimas lentes e por cerca de duas dezenas de Euro, possa ser a solução, e isto se cerca de um quilo de puro metal o não assustar... O seu aspecto é um pouco estranho, mas realmente é belissima!!!
